Overseas development (UTS)
1985 Chairman Itonaga met Mr.Yuu (Chirman) at a friendship exchange even between Omuta Lions Club and Hsinchu Lions Club.
1997 Mr.Yuu introduced Chairman Itonaga to Mr.Chen (President) following orders for reflectors in Taiwan
Establishment of Taiwan Traffic Signal Association (Speech by chairman Itonaga at the commemoration ceremony)
Mr.Chen sold 10-thousand sets of multi-view lens type unit (95A) in Taiwan.
Mr.Chen began exports of signal components such as reflectors and caps to Shingo Denzai.
1999 Chairman Itonaga, Mr.Yuu, Mr.Chen and 2 others set up UTS.
UTS delivered 300 sets of LED traffic signals to Keelung City, Taiwan. (First shipment)
Shingo Denzai began development of LED traffic signals.
2000 Shingo Denzai and UTS took part in exhibitions in Las Vegas and Amsterdam.
2001 Development and production of 154-type LED traffic signal (later 102-type signal)
Sales to Taiwan and Malaysia began.
2002 Sales of 192-type LED traffic signal (for Japan) began.
UTS' shareholder meeting decided to financially participate in Shingo Denzai.
2003 Increased production of LED signals for the Japanese market
Shingo Denzai invested on UTS as first step to overseas business expansion.
Dispatch of Japanese staff and long-term dispatch of engineers to UTS began.
